H2OMG Plays D&D MEGASODE!

Well met, traveler! Have a seat here by the roadside and listen to my tale. In ages long past, during an era lost in the mists of time (i.e. Summer 2019), H2OMG went on an incredible water conservation-based Dungeons & Dragons adventure. Our heroes solved the horrific mystery of the sanitary sewer overflows in the fabled city of Waterdeep and saved several citizens from a fate worse than death (i.e. overwatering their lawns)!

Now it's 2021 and we've used the most powerful arcane magic to weave together all four episodes of the H2OMG Plays D&D miniseries into ONE monumental episode fit only for the likes of a mighty hero!

Journey along with our brave adventurers, learn useful water conservation tips, and save the city of Waterdeep...IF YOU DARE!

Quest for the Lake Worth Monster: MEGASODE!

Even though nobody asked for this, we have FINALLY combined all 4 episodes of our "famous" Quest for the Lake Worth Monster miniseries into one mega episode or "MEGASODE"! Now you can listen to the full quest from start to finish in one convenient episode.

You know how on, like, Happy Days or Facts of Life, they would do an episode that was just clips from other old episodes? Well that's what this is. Enjoy!

This episode also includes the ultra-rare episode we recorded at the 2019 Monster Bash where local people get to tell their Lake Worth Monster stories.

A MONSTROUS thanks to Michelle Villafranca from the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge, Craig Woolheater from the Texas Bigfoot Research Center and www.cryptomundo.com, and director of the amazing documentary Southern Fried Bigfoot, Sean Whitley!

Papermaking with Laura Post

On today’s episode of H2OMG I take a trip to the studio of local papermaker and printmaker, Laura Post. And if you’re wondering what papermaking has to do with water, well don’t worry because we cover that pretty early in our talk, and, as it turns out, water is pretty important to papermaking.

Laura has also been experimenting with making paper from plants that are considered invasive in our North Texas environment, and you know we here at H2OMG are all about getting rid of non-native plants and replacing them with Native plants. They’ll look better and require less water than non-native pants because, duh, they are native to this environment.

Drippy’s Drive-In: Waterworld (1995)

On today’s episode of H2OMG, we talk with Gilbert Smith, a Customer Service Supervisor at the Fort Worth Public Library all about the GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE, Waterworld.

All the movies we cover on Drippy’s Drive-In episodes of H2OMG have a lot of water in them, but I don’t think it’s crazy to say that this one has the most. It’s going to be hard to top it anyway.

So sit back, relax, grab your harpoon, and take a trip back in time with us to 1995, a time of Virtual Boys, Nickelodeon’s Gak, and a time when Kevin Costner ruled the airwaves and the sea waves!

A huge thanks to Gilbert for taking the time to talk with us. Hope you enjoy the episode! Thanks for listening.
